We can get glass 12 Mason jars for $12 (excluding shipping). For the jars that are for the gift, we might want to consider buying the new ones so that guests don’t feel awekward using it at the party? For decoration jars, I can go to flea market and score some more green ones (about $4-5 each) and be thrifty about saving glass jars at our home…etc.
Once you have the design for the invitation, send me the visual. We can incorporate some of the visual elements of your formal party on the label/tag that goes on the gift jars. It will be cute:)
